ブラジル、ロシア、インド、中国の人口合計は、世界人口の約45%を占めている。今後、生産年齢人口（15～64歳）が増加することにより、消費需要が更に高まることが予想されている。

The total inhabitants of the “BRICs” are actually 45 percent of the world population.  More consumption demand will be expected as the working age populations, 15 to 64- year olds, in these nations are increasing.
